Pettis County Ambulance District

At 11:59 p.m. this evening (Sept. 30), APSI will stop their services for Pettis County, and the Pettis County Ambulance District will officially begin operations at midnight. Four new ambulances were brought in on Sept. 19 and will be centered at the Volunteer Fire Department at the Missouri State Fairgrounds.

The Pettis County Ambulance District is one step closer to being fully operational. Pettis County Ambulance District Board Members traveled to Linn, Mo. yesterday (Sept. 19) to pick up four new ambulances.

The Pettis County Ambulance District Board recently announced the employment of 24 full-time and six part-time employees to operate four ambulances in Pettis County. The employees were selected from over 75 resumes submitted by applicants.

The voters in Pettis County had the opportunity to vote for the initial Pettis County Ambulance District Board in a special election that was held Tuesday.   The results are now final.
