Halloween Sedalia Style at Dukes & Boots [PHOTOS]

As usual, a good time was had by all at the first Halloween celebration at Dukes & Boots.  Over $500 in cash and prizes was awarded to participants in the costume contest.  Part two is Halloween night with a $500 cash to the best costume.  Here are some pics.  Comment on them and share them!

Local Restaurants Serve Up Tasty Samples at the 2012 Taste of Sedalia Food Fair [PHOTOS]

The 2012 Taste of Sedalia Food Fair was held last night in the Agriculture Building on the Missouri State Fairgrounds.  The Food Fair featured several restaurants from the Sedalia area serving food samples to attendees.  A raffle and live music was also provided.    KSIS's Rebehka Cramer visited the food fair and took the following photos of the event.

Explosion in Warrensburg Destroys House, Three Firefighters Injured [PHOTOS]

A fire on Monday night (October 15) led to the injuries of three firefighters battling a blaze caused by a woman who fell asleep while smoking.  The building at 405 Jefferson St., which had been converted to apartments, burned until early Tuesday morning.  The blaze was fueled by the explosion of a tenant's oxygen tanks that were in the apartment where the blaze began.

University of Central Missouri Observes 9/11 with Remembrance Ceremony [PHOTOS]

Many gathered for the 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at the University of Central Missouri (UCM) on Tuesday afternoon in the Quadrangle of campus.  The President of UCM Chuck Ambrose welcomed those that came to reflect on the meaning of this day and remember those that died on this tragic day in 2001.
