The Sacred Heart High School Talking Gremlins competed in the District Speech competition at SFCC on Saturday, March 3.

SpoFest promotes the writing and public sharing of poetry in the Sedalia area by providing multiple and varied poetry-reading venues throughout the calendar year.

At one point in my life I was headed in a completely different direction than the one I currently walk.  Yes, I did all sorts of things as a kid, but generally there was a common theme to a lot of it.  I really liked school, and I loved the libraries.   So of course, I had my head in books a lot. When I was small up until about my junior year of college, I was going to be a teacher.  Specifically,
