We here at our stations use social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter every day.  It's something we do to keep you updated with the latest.  When we have breaking news about stuff, it can be the fastest way to get the word out there.

This weekend was a rare one - I was on my own.

Every day, I put a new survey question up on our websites. I do it because not only do I want to interact with you on a daily basis about stuff we all care about - but I want you to be able to win points and get prizes!

A survey of high school seniors found that most 18-year-olds want marijuana reform.

A new study found we now spend an hour and 26 minutes grocery shopping every week . . that's THREE TIMES longer than 10 years ago, when we spent 38 minutes.   We spend more time today because there are more choices, we work harder to figure out bargains, and we read nutrition labels.

I'm always looking for excuses to get a survey on the website - so you can get more points. I see what I do on the air as a way of conversing with you - but most of the time it's just me talking. So with our surveys, I ask, and you answer.
