Eden Hoeffling, a senior at Smith-Cotton High School, has accepted a scholarship to perform with the competitive cheerleading squad at William Woods University in Fulton.
Lisa Volk, who has been principal of Washington Elementary School since 2000, has announced her retirement, effective at the end of the current school year.
“It’s been a lot more work, but it's worth seeing the children enjoy the food,” Chappell said. “The menu has been amazing and the food has been outstanding.”
Smith-Cotton High School AP Biology and Human Anatomy students attended the Momberg Science and Math competition Tuesday at Central Methodist University in Fulton.
