It's been a good long while since we've heard anything from TNT's Frank Darabont-helmed '50's drama 'Lost Angels' (formerly 'L.A. Noir') but it seems like the drama may have a bit of thematic competition. New reports claim that New Regency will adapt James Ellroy's novel 'L.A. Confidential' (yes, it was a movie too) for a sequel series, but what network might it end up on?

It’s hard to think that an entire generation of young folk are more intimately familiar with the ‘Star Trek‘ of J.J. Abrams‘ reboot franchise, given the decades worth of 5+ TV series, and 10 resulting films, but the idea of bring ‘Star Trek’ back to TV is hardly a new one. So what are the odds of seeing that materialize in the near future?
