In a move that seems to defy all logic, a school in Washington State has banned the use of sunscreen, sending two sisters to the hospital with painful-looking sunburn after a field trip.
It’s graduation weekend at Smith Cotton and other schools in the area this weekend. It has been 13 years since grads were given the advice of wearing sunscreen in the song “Everybody’s Free To Wear Sunscreen.”
When you’re buying sunscreen, do you look for words like ‘waterproof,’ ‘sweatproof’ and ‘sunblock?’ If so, don’t bother — they may not be as bulletproof as they seem.
