I was looking through the news this week and I saw a lot of talk about different trends in health and losing weight. Dr. Oz got in trouble with Congress over the weight-loss products he promotes on his show.

Summertime often means time off for a lot of people. The kids are out of school, the weather's nice - its' time to get away, isn't it? Well, it might be for some of you out there, but not me. At least not yet.

Father's Day was this weekend, and if your Dad is anything like mine, he's very hard to buy for.

Every day I ask you guys a different question in our survey.  Sometimes they're silly questions, sometimes they're serious.  They're great ways to get points and get prizes, I know that much. And, you guys are all great at giving interesting answers!

Every day that goes by with me talking to some of my friends out there makes me feel a little more thankful that Boyfriendo is around. I don't know if I'm good at the whole dating thing, period, so it's better for me to do be in a  good old fashioned boring relationship.

From time to time, we're all bound to fight a bit with our family, friends, co-workers, significant others, whoever. And sometimes those arguments are necessary and healthy. But sometimes....they're just pointless.

Some of  my favorite singers and musicians are people like The Beatles, Loretta Lynn, REM, Hank Williams Sr, among several others.  I seem to really like bands that were broken up before I got to see them live, or.... that broke up before I was even born.

I was talking to a friend of mine the other day about a possible visit.  I was mentioning to him our spare room, which we also use when the girls are here for them to have a room of their own on weekends.  I told him that the room was just fine, but that sometimes the closet door might poke open (it's an old house).  He had a slight freakout.

When I was a kid, I tried not to get into trouble.  My sister was pretty rebellious, and she was a few years older than me - I saw it wasn't doing much for her, so I didn't make waves.
