Toyota announced over the weekend that it plans to recall about 160,000 Tacoma mid-size pickup trucks due to an issue that could result in the spare tire falling off.
I was driving down Grand shortly after 7 p.m. and noticed some Sedalia Police cars and an ambulance at the intersection with 14th. A Chevy pickup truck struck a the corner of 1400 S. Grand just moments before. I did not get an opportunity to speak with the driver or authorities.
