Pettis County Loses its Freakin’ Mind Over Winter Storm Forecast [OPINION]

In case you've been living under a rock for the past couple of days, Pettis County is in for some snow this week. According to the Pettis County Emergency Management Agency, we're looking at 4-6 inches on Tuesday (Feb. 3) with winds up to 30 mph and poor visibility. And you know what? Winter Weather: Love It or Hate it? [POLL]

I saw something kind of strange the other day on Facebook: Someone saying that they couldn't wait for winter. I know it wasn't sarcastic either, because they added little emoticons of smiley faces, snowmen and candy canes. And if a snowman emoticon isn't sincere, then I don't know what is.

The NFL Should Not Delay Games for Weather [OPINION]

The NFL season is young, but I'm already seeing a trend this year that I really don't want to see anymore. There have already been three games delayed or suspended due to weather. The NFL used to play games in any condition. Last Sunday (Sept. 15), there were two delays; Tampa Bay vs New Orleans and then San Francisco vs Seattle.
