A 17-year old Holden resident was injured Wednesday afternoon in a one-vehicle wreck in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident at 3:40, on NW 355 Road just east of MO-131.

According to the online crash report, a 1998 GMC truck lost control on the roadway, traveling off the left side and striking a utility pole.

The driver, Taylor M. Scott, of Holden, suffered moderate injuries in the wreck. Scott was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment. The crash report indicates that Scott was wearing a safety device.

The GMC sustained moderate damage and was towed.
