Teenager Injured in Johnson County Wreck

An 18-year old Odessa man was taken to the hospital Tuesday night, after suffering injuries in a Johnson County wreck.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident around 8:30, on MO-13 just north of NW 1050 Road.

According to the online crash report, a 1997 Honda struck the rear of a 2005 Freightliner, as the freightliner was slowing down.

The driver of the Honda, Matthew L. Boyd, of Odessa, suffered serious injuries in the wreck. He was taken to Centerpoint Medical Center, by JCAD, for treatment.

The driver of the Freightliner, 48-year old Maurice W. Milton, of Warrensburg, was not injured.

The Honda was totaled in the accident.
