Terry Don Anderson, 57

Terry Don Anderson, 57, of Sedalia, died Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at his home.

He was born February 21, 1955, in Sedalia, son of Donald Eugene Anderson and Dixie Lee (Parks).

Terry was a 1973 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School. He worked at Alcan Cable for over twenty years. He was a member of First Baptist Church and Moose Lodge 1494. He enjoyed traveling and playing cards.

Surviving are two sons, Leland Anderson and James Anderson, both of Sedalia; a granddaughter, Kenley LeAnn Anderson; a sister, Vicki Eckerle, of La Monte; and two nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Anderson and Dixie England; and his companion of many years, Janice “Kathy” Spear.

Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 5, at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Marlin Brown officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Heckart Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Epilepsy Foundation.
