Terry Lynn (Stage) Thompson, 56

Terry Lynn (Stage) Thompson, 56 of Sedalia passed away January 19, 2014 at her home.  She was born on July 15, 1957, a daughter of Richard Devon Stage, who preceded her in death and Mary Alice Thurman, who survives of Blackwater, MO.

Terry enjoyed fishing, gardening, crocheting, crafts and archery.  She was former President and Treasurer of the MO Council of the Blind and a former Red Hat Lady.

She is survived by one son, David Hamby and his wife Shelaine; one grandson, David Aaron Hamby; one sister, Lucinda Horscroft and her husband Geoffrey all of Sedalia; and one brother, Rick Stage of Springfield, MO.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia with Rev. Tony Chapman officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, Sedalia.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Tow, John Franken, David Pratt, Brandon Whitlock and Dave Wilson.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Mo Council of the Blind or Bothwell Cancer Center in care of the funeral chapel.
