Preschool through 12th graders are invited to sign up for “The Magic of Reading” with the Sedalia Public Library’s Winter Reading program. The program started January 21, but don't think that because it's started that you can't still join up. You can still pick up reading logs, check out books and let the magic begin. Adapted programs are available for children with reading disabilities.  The Sedalia Public Library is now back at home at the Carnegie Building, and they're offering a lot of the old programs they were regularly doing before the reconstruction.

I spoke with the Children's Librarian, Amy Elvers, about the Magic of Reading, story times and all the other great things going on this season.

The Winter Reading  program ends on Feb. 18.  Call 826-1314 for more information or check out the website at sedalialibrary.com.

Read-ily yours,
Behka
