Theft of $2,750 Worth of Jewelry Reported to Sedalia Police
Sedalia Police responded to a report of a burglary of jewelry valued at $2,750 in the 900 block of S. Prospect. Between 7:15 and 8:55 p.m. May 19, someone forced entry into the residence and stole the jewelry.
On Wednesday, Smokers Outlet, 1700 E. Broadway, reported the theft of $100 of merchandise. A suspect was identified through video. A charge of stealing is being submitted against the subject.
Joshua Michael Larsen, 22, was arrested for shoplifting a can of Bud Lite at Casey's. 1601 E. Broadway, on May 19. Larsen was issued a Municipal summons for Stealing.
A Sedalia woman reported the theft of her cell phone from Centennial Park on May 19. The white Samsung Galaxy Note 4 phone reportedly fell out of her pocket. The victim believes she knows the suspects.
On May 18, J&M Diesel and Auto Repair, 3200 block of S. Limit, reported that two suspects brought a vehicle to be inspected and promised to return the next day to pay the $12 fee. They never returned.
