The Pettis County Sheriff's Office, Sedalia Police and Missouri State Highway Patrol investigated a stolen vehicle case in the 4700 Block of South Highway 65 last Sunday (Dec. 1). The investigation also uncovered stolen copper that was taken from an unidentified business in Sedalia.

Three people were arrested in the case, 23-year-old Amber Wilson, 28-year-old Fernando Arroyo Martinez, and 30-year-old Geraldo Madrigal.

Wilson was charged with tampering with a motor vehicle in the first degree and receiving stolen property, bond set at $5,000; Martinez was charged with receiving stolen property, bond set at $3,500; and Madrigal was charged with receiving stolen property and is being held without bond until such time he can produce proof of legal presence in the country.
