Three people were injured Sunday afternoon in a two-vehicle wreck that occurred in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck at approximately 3:15, on Highway 50 just east of Route P.

According to the online crash report, a 2006 Chrysler 300 and a 2003 Ford 350 were both westbound, when the Chrysler overtook and struck the Ford. The Chrysler then traveled off the road and came to rest.

The driver of the Chrysler, 21-year old Craig A. Dewitt, of Warsaw, and two passengers, 20-year olds Mary J. Porter and Charlie J. Sprinkle, both of Edwards, MO, all suffered moderate injuries.

They were taken to Western Missouri Medical Center, by JCAD, for treatment.

The driver of the Ford, 60-year old Randy L. Rittman, of Knob Noster, was reportedly uninjured.
