Three Sedalia Teens Injured in Rollover Accident

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a rollover accident that occurred in Pettis County Monday morning.

The wreck happened on Highway 65 north of Violet Road at 7:46 a.m. as a southbound 2014 Chrysler Town & Country driven by 17-year-old Colton R. Tubbs of Sedalia traveled off the right side of the road, struck an embankment and overturned.

Injured was the driver Tubbs, who was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center, by private vehicle, with moderate injuries.

Two occupants in the vehicle, 16-year-old Scott Tackett of Sedalia, and 16-year-old Marcie Martinez of Sedalia, suffered minor injuries and were transported by ambulance to Bothwell Regional Health Center. None of the three were wearing a safety device, according to the report.

The Chrysler was totaled and towed from the scene.
