SEDALIA—Three State Fair Community College staff members have received the 2014 John & Suanne Roueche Excellence Awards presented by the League for Innovation in the Community College (League).

The awards recognize outstanding contributions and leadership by community college faculty and staff of League Alliance member institutions. Awards were announced at the 2015 “Innovations” conference March 8-11 in Boston.

Awardees were Randy Crawshaw, instructor of English Composition, Literature and Living Religions; Stacie Wild, adjunct instructor of Psychology; and Polly Grapes, director of the Campus Bookstore.

Crawshaw, Wild and Grapes were nominated for the awards by SFCC after being named instructor, adjunct instructor and staff member of the year for 2014.

The League is an international, nonprofit association dedicated to catalyzing the community college movement. CEOs from influential, resourceful and dynamic community colleges and districts throughout the world comprise the League’s board of directors and provide strategic direction for its activities.
