A total of three vehicles were reported stolen in the Sedalia area on Saturday morning.

 
The first was reported at 5 a.m. Oct. 8 in the 500 block of W. 7th. Taken was a 2000 Dodge Dakota extended cab. The forest green vehicle has a dent in the left front fender and orange twine holding the plastic shroud under the bumper, and the clear coat is peeling the hood and cab. And the driver's rear window may have been broken during the theft, the report said.

The second was taken from Ollison's Used Cars, 2809 E. 12th. It was an extended cab, white 1987 Ford F-250. The pickup was locked with keys secured in a safe at the business, the report said. The vehicle was drug north on Marshall, it was noted. The truck was last seen at 6 p.m. Friday evening and reported missing at 7:15 a.m. Saturday. The truck was valued at $2,500.

The third was taken from a shed in the 1900 block of S. Harrison. It was a black 1996 Chevy Camaro Z28, valued at (3,000). In addition, a drum set valued at $300 was taken from a vacant house on the property. The incident is under investigation.

In addition, police were contacted on Tuesday about a stolen vehicle that was spotted in the area of Randolph and Howard. The vehicle was later confirmed stolen out of Pettis County. The officer made contact with the suspects, who denied any knowledge of a stolen car. A Pettis County deputy later went and recovered the vehicle, the report said.
