TIP A COP Fundraiser Raises Over $2,000 for Special Olympics in Missouri

The Sedalia Police Department and Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar in Sedalia, recently hosted TIP A COP event for the Special Olympics in Missouri. According to a press release, the fundraiser on July 13, was successful.

Through tips, t-shirts, and raffle tickets, the event brought in $2,100.00. The money raised will be used to aid Central Area Special Olympic athletes in their participation in sporting events.

The Sedalia Police Department would like to thank Applebee’s staff for their assistance and all the people who came out to support Special Olympics Missouri!

There is still a limited supply of Torch Run t-shirts, as well as Drive It Home tickets, available, at the Sedalia Police Department.
