Tractor-Trailer Strikes, Kills Pedestrian in Kansas City

A tractor-trailer has struck and killed a pedestrian who was attempting to cross a Kansas City highway.

The Kansas City Star reports that the accident happened around 2 a.m. Thursday on Missouri 152 in the northern part of the city.

A police investigation of the accident closed the highway for several hours. The highway reopened about 5 a.m.
