Police arrested a Sedalia man after a K9 reportedly alerted to the presence of narcotics during a June 22 traffic stop.

Police say a Chevrolet truck was pulled over around 9:49 p.m. in the area of S. Missouri Ave. and W. 18th St. after it was determined that it was bearing license plates registered to another vehicle. Police say that the driver had a suspended license, and he was placed under arrest.

A K9 unit was then deployed on the vehicle, and methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia were reportedly located after the K9 alerted to the presence of narcotics. 37-year-old Quinton Noel Gano was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.
