Trail Cams, Fair Time and Archery Shoots

Hello all! The fair is here, and the weather has dipped down into the low 90s. I’m going to break out the parka! I hope everyone is enjoying the outdoors while they can. Here’s a rundown of events going on this week.

Not only are the fish still biting, but the deer are still feeding too. We’ve been seeing a lot of trail cam pics, so it should be awesome this year. Keep checking back here and make sure you tune in, because we’re working on a trail cam photo contest that you’ll be able to enter right here at kxkx.com.

We’ll be hanging out at the KIX RV before Montgomery Gentry at the fair on Saturday night. We’re going to be having a Huntin’ and Fishin’ with Harry Rack Scoring Contest. We’ll bring the buck for you to score, and the person closest to the official score will get state fair event tickets. We’ll also have some Huntin’ and Fishin’ with Harry gear to give away.

State Fair Archery is having an appreciation shoot this Sunday. Your entry fee gets you lunch and a door prize ticket, where you could win one of 50 prizes provided by local sponsors. Come check out this great, family friendly outdoor activity.
