The Sedalia Police Department Investigative Unit and Henry County Sheriff’s Department Investigative Unit have arrested two adults and two juveniles in connection with the recent armed robberies of two Sonic Restaurants located in Sedalia and Windsor.

According to a press release from the Sedalia Police Department this, 21-year-old Jeffery D. Buckner was arrested at 2:05 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14., and 23-year-old Xavier D. Washington was arrested  at 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15.  Both men are from Sedalia and are being held at the Pettis County Jail on charges of armed criminal action, 1st degree robbery and assault.

Two juveniles from Sedalia, ages 14 and 15, were taken into custody at 12:30 this morning (Nov.15).  They are currently being held in a juvenile detention facility.

At 10:37 the night of Nov. 5, Sedalia police were dispatched to the Sonic Drive-In at 2800 South Limit on a reported robbery with a gun. Upon arrival, employees of the drive-in told the officers that four men entered the business and pointed a gun at them. The robbers ordered the employees to open the safe and took an undisclosed amount of cash from the safe before leaving the area. There was no report of anyone being harmed in the robbery.  Pettis County Deputies and Henry County Deputies then responded to the Sonic Drive-In in the 300 Block of North Main Street in Windsor as an armed robbery took place there on the night of Nov. 11.
