Two Arrested After Police Called on Trespassing Complaint

Two Sedalia men were arrested just after 3 a.m. on May 30 when police were dispatched to the 400 block of E. 13th Street. A caller told authorities that two men were in a neighbor's car.

According to Sedalia Police, the suspects were found in the 800 block of E. 12th Street where an officer observed a suspect getting into a van. Police say the men ran from them, and were apprehended near 14th and Collins. The owner of the van told police that nothing was taken from the vehicle.

22-year-old Ian Paul Hartt and 20-year-old Alexander Luis Astocaza were taken into custody for trespassing. Hartt also had an active failure to appear warrant from the City of Sedalia.
