Two-car Rollover Crash Injures California Man

A Califonia, Mo., man was injured in a two vehicle accident that occurred in Johnson County Monday night at 8:43 p.m.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 23-year-old Tyler Pettigrew was the driver of a northbound 1998 Ford Ranger slowing to turn into a private drive on Missouri Route 23 just north of DD, when a northbound 2016 Ford Focus driven by 22-year-old Andre J. Greene of Warrensburg struck him from behind, forcing Pettigrew's Ranger off the right side of the roadway and causing it to overturn. Greene's car traveled off the left side of the roadway.

Pettigrew suffered minor injuries and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center, while Greene did not report any injuries. Both were wearing a safety device, the Patrol said. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
