Two Warrensburg residents, including a 9-year-old girl, were injured Sunday in an accident in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened around 9:50 a.m. on Business 13 south of NW 425 Rd. The Patrol reports a 2007 Toyota, driven by 49-year-old Sherman Miller of Warrensburg, had stopped to make a turn when it was struck from behind by a 2008 Kia driven by 23-year-old Shannon Sanders of Concordia.

Two passengers in Miller's vehicle - 54-year-old Christina Miller and 9-year-old Aralym Miller - suffered minor injuries in the crash and were taken to Western Missouri Medical Center by private vehicle for treatment. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage.
