Two Men Injured in Benton County Vehicle Rollover

Two men suffered moderate injuries in a one-car rollover wreck in Benton County Wednesday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident at 11:20, on MO-83 just east of Hilty Avenue.

According to the online crash report, an eastbound 2008 Nissan Altima traveled off the right side of the road, then over-corrected and began to skid. The Altima then traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned, coming to rest on its top.

The driver, 22-year old Storm M. Paris, of Cameron, and a passenger, 19-year old Jayce J. Chenault, of Warsaw, both suffered moderate injuries in the wreck. Both men were taken to Golden Valley Hospital, in Clinton, for treatment.

The report indicates the Altima was totaled.
