Two men in northeast Missouri were arrested on drug charges on February 27 after police were dispatched to assist EMS in the parking lot of a Hannibal shopping center.

Police say an unconscious man was found inside a vehicle at the Steamboat Bend Shopping Center. 19-year-old Noah W. Ratliff of New London, Missouri was arrested on an outstanding warrant after being cleared by EMS. Police say drug paraphernalia was discovered on Ratliff during a search, and a "large amount of what appeared to be methamphetamine" was reportedly found in the vehicle.

Further investigation led to the arrest of 35-year-old Britton D Friday of Hannibal, in connection with the methamphetamine discovered in the vehicle.

Both Ratliff and Friday were placed on 24 hour holds at the Marion County Jail in Palmyra, Missouri.
