Two Pedestrians Struck in St. Peters; One Dies, One Badly Hurt

The Missouri State Highway Patrol and St. Peters police are investigating after two men walked into traffic and were hit by a pickup truck, killing one of them and leaving the other badly hurt.

Authorities say 22-year-old Aaron Moushey and a 23-year-old man were struck Wednesday night on Route 364 in St. Peters. It isn't clear why the men were in the roadway. Authorities say the truck that hit them was going 55 mph at the time.

Moushey was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. The other man is hospitalized in serious condition.
