Two people were injured in a motorcycle accident Monday afternoon in Saline County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the accident around 1:40, at Highway EE and 200th Road.

A 2008 Harley Davidson was traveling north when it struck a deer in the roadway. The motorcycle overturned and came to rest. Two people were ejected from the bike.

The driver, 56-year-old Robert E. Benjamin, of Malta Bend, and a passenger, 61-year-old Linda A. Adcock, of Marshall, suffered minor injuries in the rollover accident. Both were taken to Fitzgibbon  Hospital, by EMS, for treatment.

According to the report, the Harley Davidson was totaled.
