A two-vehicle crash in Pettis County sent two people to the hospital on Monday.

The MSHP reported that the wreck occurred at 11:33 a.m. on Highway 50, east of Route MM, when an eastbound 2009 Ford Flex driven by 32-year-old Eric J. Black of Knob Noster, and an eastbound 2018 Toyota Camry driven by 21-year-old Andrew W. Carr of WAFB, were eastbound on 50 when the Camry suddenly rotated sideways. The Ford then struck the Toyota on the right side and traveled off the roadway and down an embankment. The Camry also slid off the road.

10-year-old Kenneth Crane of Knob Noster and 32-year-old Chalise M. Denison of Sedalia were occupants and suffered minor injuries. They were transported by PCAD to Bothwell Regional Health Center and Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.

The Ford Flex had moderate damage, while the Camry was totaled.
