Pettis County accident injures a Stover woman Tuesday morning

At 7:40 Tuesday morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol assisted by the Pettis County Sheriff’s Department reported an injury accident on Route “M” east of Route “V” in Pettis County. The accident reportedly occurred as the 2001 Volkswagen Jetta driven by 54-year-old Kathy A. Hunter of Stover travelled off the roadway, struck and embankment, and struck a tree. The vehicle then rolled over coming to rest on its wheels. Hunter suffered moderate injuries in the crash, but sought her own treatment.

Two-vehicle accident reported in a Pettis County accident Tuesday morning

Around 7:15 Tuesday morning a two vehicle accident was reported on Missouri Route “TT” at Brooking Park Avenue. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report the crash occurred as the driver of a 2005 Toyota, 18-year-old Makayla D. Erwin of Knob Noster failed to stop at a stop sign, and struck the 2003 Ford driven by 53-year-old Randy L. Goodman of Sedalia. Erwin received moderate injuries, and was transported by EMS to Bothwell Hospital for treatment. The accident report states the Pettis County Sheriff’s Department assisted the Highway Patrol at the scene.
