The Sedalia STING team arrested 43-year-old Troy Daye and 24-year-old Latasha Wolfe after a traffic stop on the night of November 8 in the 200 Block of South Ohio Avenue.

The Sedalia Police Department K9 Unit detected marijuana in the vehicle. Detectives with the Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a search warrant at their home in the area of East 13th and South Hancock. Sedalia Police found one adult and two children in the home, at the time of the search warrant. Sedalia Police found additional quantities of marijuana, drug packaging materials/supplies, drug paraphernalia and several firearms in the home. The adult was released without charges and the children were released to a relative.

Daye faces charges of possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, felon in possession of a firearm, habitual drug user in possession of a firearm, child endangerment in the second degree and unlawful transaction with a child; bond is set at $150,000 cash/surety.

Wolfe faces a charge of unlawful transfer of a weapon to a felon, bond set at $3,500 cash/surety.
