Two Sedalia residents were taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center after suffering injuries in a Monday morning wreck.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident just after 6:00, on US-65 at Claycomb Road in Pettis County.

According to the online crash report, a 1997 Pontiac Sunfire was southbound on Highway 65, when it traveled off the left side of the road. The driver then over corrected, and the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road, struck an embankment, and overturned, coming to rest on its top.

The driver, 17-year old Quivonta Moore, and a passenger, 24-year old Jamaine J. Davis, suffered minor injuries in the accident. Both were taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center, by PCAD, for treatment.

The Pettis County Sheriff's Department assisted the Highway Patrol at the scene.
