Two Sedalia women were injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred in Saline County Friday morning.

Jill M. Bremer, 34, Sedalia, was the driver of a 1998 Jeep that was entering eastbound I-70 at 7:14 a.m. at the 78.4-mile marker when the driver attempted to avoid another vehicle and hydroplaned, causing the driver to lose control, travel off the right side of the roadway and overturn.

Bremer and her passenger, 60-year-old Carol M. Bremer, suffered minor injuries and were transported to University Hospital in Columbia by ambulance, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said. The Patrol was assisted by Saline County Sheriff's Department, Fire and EMS.

The Jeep was totaled and was towed by Don's Truck Towing. Both occupants of the vehicle were wearing safety devices, the report noted.
