Two Teenagers Fall Through Ice In St. Louis Area

LAKE ST. LOUIS, Mo. (AP) — A 14-year-old boy is hospitalized in critical condition after he and a friend fell through ice on a suburban St. Louis lake. The two 14-year-olds fell through the ice just before noon Monday. One boy was under water for about 15 minutes. He wasn't breathing and had no pulse until a defibrillator was used to resuscitate him. The other boy who fell in was treated for hypothermia, as was a friend to who tried to rescue both of them.
