Three Mules and six Jennies' basketball players were named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll as announced by the league office on Thursday. In addition, Preston Brunz of Mules Basketball and Shelby Winkelmann of Jennies Basketball were named MIAA Scholar-Athletes.

Along with Brunz, Mules basketball players Kyle Wolf and Brad Woodson were all named to the men's academic honor roll, while Danielle Barry, Breonna Embray, Amanda Rodenberg, Andee Wahlert, Brielle Wattley and Winkelmann were named to the list from the Jennies.

To achieve honor roll status, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 and have at least two terms of attendance at the certifying member institution, excluding summer terms. MIAA Scholar-Athlete Awards are given to those individuals who have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better, have at least two terms of attendance at the certifying member institution, and, if competing in a championship sport of the MIAA, earn All-MIAA honors.

The Newcomers Academic Honor Roll for freshman and transfers, as well as the MIAA Academic Excellence Awards for 4.0 GPAs will be given out following the end of the 2014-15 school year.
