UCM Bowlers Make Team USA

LAS VEGAS -- Current Jennies' bowler Mary Wells and former Jennies All-American Bryanna Caldwell both earned spots on Team USA based on their performances at the USBC Team USA Trials. Caldwell earned a spot on Women's Team USA, while Wells was an at-large selection to Junior Team USA.

Wells was chosen as one of two at-large selections for Junior Team USA by the selection committee. Caldwell was chosen based on her trials performance.

This is the third Junior Team USA appearances for Wells, who was an All-American and the Division II/III Rookie of the Year for UCM during her freshman campaign.

Caldwell was a four-time All-American during her career at Central Missouri and one of just four student-athletes in all sports in NCAA history to win four National Player of the Year awards. She will be inducted into the UCM Athletics Hall of Fame next month.

The Jennies bowling team returns to action next weekend at the Arkansas State Mid-Winter Classic in Jonesboro.
