The 2016 season is underway and this weekend championship points racing continues with University of Central Missouri (UCM) race night at CMS.

USRA Modifieds, Street Stocks, B-Mods, and Pure Stocks will compete in preliminary and main event races throughout the night as drivers look to start the season strong to establish themselves in the point’s chases.

In honor of UCM Night at the Races, all UCM students with a current and valid UCM Student I.D. will receive half-priced grandstand admission at just $5! Last weekend, the season began with Gunner Martin of Independence, Missouri capturing his first-ever USRA Modified victory at CMS. Both Jacob Ebert (B-Mods) and Brett Wood (Street Stocks) started their 2016 seasons where they left off with their championship seasons from last year by claiming victories in their respective divisions. Jason Ryun of Kansas City took the honors of claiming the first Pure Stock main event of the year.

On Saturday, Pit Gates open at 4:30, followed by grandstands at 5, driver pill draw cutoff is 6:15 (no passing points if driver draws after cutoff), Pit Meeting takes place at 6:30, Hot Laps begin at 7, followed by racing at 7:30.
