Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon visited the University of Central Missouri Tuesday, Aug. 25, and announced investments that will strengthen Missouri's position as a leader in higher education quality and affordability. In an outdoor press conference discussed improvements at UCM that were being made possible through Building Affordability, an initiative proposed by the Governor in collaboration with public colleges and universities and passed with bi-partisan support in the General Assembly this year.

With the completion of The Crossing and the area surrounding Walton Stadium, the University of Central Missouri has announced new football tailgating procedures for the 2015 football season.

All designated tailgate lots will open three hours prior to kickoff and will stay open through the end of halftime. The pregame tailgate tent for Mule Train donors will still open two hours prior to kickoff and will be open to all levels of Mule Train donors. The Mule Train tailgate tent will once again be held in the grass area just to the west of Walton Stadium.

Central Missouri Mules Golf will hold their annual fundraising tournament on Friday, Oct. 2 at Royal Oaks at Whiteman Air Force Base in Knob Noster, Missouri. Tee-off for the tournament is set for 1:00 p.m.  The entry fee is $120.00 per person and includes greens fees, golf cart, player gifts and lunch prior to the tournament. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

The tournament is a four-person scramble format, determined by handicaps.   All proceeds from the tournament will go to the UCM Mules Golf team. The date of the tournament is Family Weekend at UCM so make your reservations early!  To register, fill out the registration form at the link below.
