Consistent with continuing efforts to make student and employee safety a top priority at the University of Central Missouri, the university is enhancing crosswalk safety through efforts to make designated crossings more visible to motorists who are traveling near campus.  These recent actions by university crews make it possible for drivers to know when a pedestrian crossing is approaching much faster than they have in the past.

Aubrey Winn, a public relations major from Macon, and Tyler Shepard, an elementary education major from Sedalia, have been named the 2015 recipients of the University of Central Missouri’s prestigious Charno Award. The award is presented annually to the top male and female members of the senior class at UCM.

The Mules baseball team has altered their final regular season series for this weekend at Lindenwood. The four-game MIAA series will now start with a doubleheader on Friday at 1 p.m. The teams will play a single game on Saturday at 1 p.m. and a single game on Sunday at 1 p.m.  Stay tuned to UCMathletics.com for any further schedule changes.

The Central Missouri Mules Golf team fired a final round score of nine-over par 297 to capture their second straight MIAA Tournament Championship. With the win, the Mules also claim their second straight MIAA Regular Season Championship. It's the fifth tournament title in the last six years and the sixth regular season crown in the last seven for UCM.

Not much shakeup at the top of the NCAA Central Region where the Jennies remain third. The top four all remained the same with Augustana (S.D.) and Arkansas Tech holding the top-two spots and Central Oklahoma at No. 4.
