A two-vehicle accident in Benton County injured two women Tuesday afternoon.

The crash occurred just before 3:00, at Highway 7 and Main Street. A 2005 Chevy, driven by 18-year old Taylor E. Goetz, turned into the path of a 1998 Ford, driven by 58-year old Regina M. Jachetta. The Ford then overtook the Chevy and struck it. Both vehicles came to rest in the southbound lane.

Goetz and Jachetta, both of Warsaw, suffered moderate injuries in the wreck but both women refused medical treatment at the scene.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported another two-vehicle accident in Johnson County Tuesday morning. The accident occurred around 11:20am, on Highway 50 Westbound at Route FF.

A 2011 Harley Davidson changed into the passing lane in order to yield to an emergency vehicle on the shoulder of the road. The Harley Davidson was struck in the rear by a 2015 Chevrolet.

Two people on the Harley Davidson, 39-year old Dustin L. Clinton (driver) and 24-year old Trinity I. Diaz (passenger) suffered serious injuries in the wreck.

Clinton was transported by SNI Valley EMS, to Centerpoint hospital for treatment.

Diaz was taken to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, for the treatment of her injuries.
