Viola I. Lewis age 92 of Sedalia died on Monday, September 10, 2012 at the Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center. She was born on May 16, 1920 in Sedalia daughter of Walter R. and Ollie Harmon Maness.

She was a homemaker and worked at Lamy Mgf. Co. for a short time. She enjoyed playing games like Bingo and Trouble. She also liked making quilts. She loved the time spent with her friends. Viola was very dear and special to us and will be dearly missed. She is survived by many friends she called her family including Barbara Pillars and Ruth Offenburger of Sedalia.

She was preceded by her parents and three sisters.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Highland Sacred Gardens with Pastor Al Oetman officiating. There will be visitation from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 12, 2012 and also from 9:30 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bill Pillars, Henry Jackson, Willy Jackson, William Jackson, Bennie Hunter, Kelton Hunter. Honorary pallbearers are Donnie Hunter, Jimmy Hunter, Jacob Hunter, Zachary Hunter.
