Wanda Lee Braden, 81, of Sedalia, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Lincoln Community Care Center, Lincoln, Missouri. She was born on February 13, 1932 in Harrison, Arkansas, a daughter of David and Pauline (Colson) Fullerton.

On January 15, 1949 in Alpena, Arkansas, she was united in marriage to James Braden, who survives of the home.

Wanda held various jobs serving her community. She was a former bookkeeper for Shirley Wagnor, CPA. She also worked for the Pettis Clerks Office and Auditors Office as well as the Sedalia Licensing and Department of Revenue. Wanda also spent time as a proof reader for Inter-State Studios. Wanda loved to work word find puzzles. She was a member of the ESA Chapter of Rhotau and of Parkview Christian Church, Sedalia.

Besides her husband, James Braden, she is survived by two children, James Charles Braden, Jr. and his wife, Kathy, of Windsor, Missouri, and David Mark Braden of Sedalia; one grandson, David Michael Braden; and two step-children, William and Elizabeth.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday, August 19, 2013 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, with Rev. Rodney Brown officiating.

The family will receive friends at the chapel thirty minutes prior to service.
