Warrensburg detectives and UCM Public Safety Officers arrested 23-year-old Darrien E. Bruster on Monday (Feb. 3) after seizing over 10 ounces of marijuana, two digital scales and $2000 in cash while serving a search warrant at his apartment on the UCM Campus in Warrensburg.

According to a statement from the Warrensburg Police Department, officers arrived at Bruster's apartment, located at 900 S. Washington St., Apt. 8B in Greenwood Circle, and served the search warrant at approximately 12:15 p.m. Bruster was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia. Warrensburg Detectives say they will request that the Johnson County Prosecuter file a forfeiture petition on the $2000 they seized during the search in accordance with the Criminal Activity Forfeiture Act.

Bruster is currently being held in the Johnson County Jail pending the formal filing of charges.
