Warrensburg Man Arrested for Child Sex Crimes

A 29-year-old Warrensburg man has been arrested and is accused of sex crimes against a child.

KSHB reports Mackenzie Ray Mesecher is charged with attempted sodomy of a child, enticement of a child, sexual misconduct involving a child, and furnishing pornographic material to a minor. Mesecher is accused of showing a pornographic video on his phone to an 8-year-old child at a home in Warrensburg in early January. He then reportedly asked the child to perform sexual acts.

Mesecher was booked into the Johnson County Jail on Tuesday.
