Warrensburg Man Injured after Vehicle Strikes Tree

A 28-year old Warrensburg man was injured early Friday morning after his vehicle struck a tree in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck just before 2:00, in the 400 block of W. Pine Street.

According to the online crash report, a westbound 2010 Toyota traveled off the road and struck a tree. The driver, 28-year old Joshua K. Ploof, suffered moderate injuries. He was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center, by JCAD, for treatment.

Ploof was also charged with DWI and speeding.

The Toyota was totaled in the wreck.
